Apprenticeship Scheme Endorsement
The HETA Advanced Apprenticeship Scheme is endorsed by both the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (I MechE) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).

"The Institition of Mechanical Engineers is proud to be associated with HETA’s exceptional Advanced Apprentice scheme and has approved the scheme for EngTech registration. This means that apprentices who complete their NVQ3 on the HETA Advanced Apprentice scheme have met the stringent competences laid down for professional registration as Engineering Technicians and full membership of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. Approved scheme status is an endorsement of the high quality of the HETA Advanced Apprentice scheme, and provides a huge boost to apprentices who want to stand out from the crowd with potential employers."

Institution of Mechanical Engineers
The Institution of Engineering and Technology have approved the HETA Advanced Apprenticeship scheme for more than eight years. The approval means all apprentices who complete an NVQ Level 3 and gain a technical certificate through the HETA apprentices scheme, are eligible to apply for the Engineering Technicians professional qualification via The Institution of Engineering and Technology.
Through their training the graduating apprentices can demonstrate they applied their learning into practice and met with the requirements of the Engineering Council at Eng Tech level. In recognition of this achievement they will be able to utilise the post nominals TMIET Eng Tech, the qualification is also recognised under the European Directive EC/2005/36 for regulated professional titles, which enable them to work anywhere in the EU.
“HETA produce some of the highest quality apprentices in the country. Over the period of time The IET have worked with HETA, we have seen them develop their apprentices into excellent young engineers.
