I found their approach to training quite different to other companies I had worked with in the past, there was a great deal of focus placed on behaviour, teamwork and delivery all within a structured framework of support and expected deadlines.
Their approach on initial selection of suitable candidates ensures young people with the right behaviours and fundamental approach to engineering are identified and enrolled on the scheme, the comprehensive database of assessment results allows potential employers to select the appropriate individuals for their specific company needs.
The training environment not only teaches practical & theoretical skills, it also embeds the realities & expectations of working life within future employers.
In my experience over the last 3-4 years a HETA apprentice is a well skilled matured individual capable of providing real value to their employer extremely quickly, this is a testament to the approach of both HETA as a group and its professional & dedicated staff.
I would not hesitate in recommending HETA as a superb training organisation to any engineering or manufacturing company looking to develop either their own apprenticeship scheme or upskilling of an existing workforce.
