BACKGROUND

Humberside Engineering Training Association (HETA) is a dynamic and expanding Group Training Association (GTA) with training centres in Hull, Grimsby, and Scunthorpe. We specialise in providing Level 3 & 4 engineering apprenticeships, higher education, and upskilling courses to over 300 client companies.

Partnering with industry leaders in engineering and manufacturing, we are dedicated to advancing engineering training locally, regionally, and nationally.

JOB PURPOSE

This key role will play a vital part in driving HETA’s sales function, ensuring the continued success and growth of our training services.

MAIN TASKS & JOB ACTIVITIES

• To deliver a first—class consultative sales experience to prospects and customers across the range of HETA products and services.
• To achieve agreed personal sales targets across the range of HETA products and services.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations using a range of media and techniques to achieve successful outcomes.
• Maintain regular, effective and timely interventions with all prospects and customers ensuring that aII contact is recorded in the CRM.
• Manage personal pipeline of opportunities to ensure achievement of personal objectives and contribution to team targets.
• Develop business proposals for prospects and customers.
• Carry out sales meetings with prospects and customers.
• Gather and share intelligence to support the strategic and operational planning of HETA.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co— workers, learners, companies and the general public.
• Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management that are applicable to the role.
• Arrange and participate in meetings, team events, staff meetings, and open days/events. This includes the taking of minutes when requested by management.
• Arrange and organise (or assist with) events to promote HETA, HETA apprentices and HETA achievements, to include effective communication with all the stakeholders of the event ensuring all the relevant information is passed on and understood.
• Any other duties commensurate with this post.

A full driving license and use of own vehicle is essential as the successful candidate will be responsible for the West Yorkshire Area starting in Selby and going West through to Leeds and south as far as Sheffield.

This is a home base position with the candidate ideally located central to the sales area.
