Rachel joined HETA in 2001 and has worked her way from administrator to now hold the position of Administration Manager. Rachel now has responsibility for the admin team of 8 administrators across the 3 training centres.
Starting her working career as Office Junior for the finance department of Great Universal Stores, Rachel progressed through to Senior Administrator and finally Finance Representative before being made redundant when the company decided to close the finance section of the business in 2000. A temporary post within Hull City Council followed before the HETA opportunity came along……
Joining HETA as Administrator/Receptionist in 2001 Rachel’s role within the organisation has developed from being office based at Hull carrying out day-to-day admin tasks and dealing with customer enquiries to co-ordinating the Administration teams across our 3 sites.
Her current role as Administration Manager involves travelling between our Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe centres planning, standardising and co-ordinating all aspects of apprentice recruitment & induction, adult training & customer service as well as mentoring and supporting administration staff. Rachel organises all of the awards evenings and open days which involves working closely with colleagues, our client companies and other external organisations.
