We are proud to announce that Scott Rorrison, HETA's Teaching and Learning Manager, has been honoured with a prestigious Technical Teaching Fellowship.
Funded by a partnership between the Education and Training Foundation (ETF), which has a charitable objective to develop the technical education workforce, and the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851, the Technical Teaching Fellowship programme, which extends across the Four Nations of the United Kingdom, recognises, rewards, promotes and increases excellence of practice in technical (STEM) teaching and training. It recognises the convening power of partnerships and promotes high quality collaborations between industry and education to achieve goals. Currently, there are only 20 Fellows across the UK and so this recognition is a testament to Scott's exceptional dedication and expertise in the field of technical education.
At HETA, we couldn't be prouder of Scott's achievement, as his innovative approach to teaching and learning significantly enhances the quality of our apprenticeship provision. Scott's passion and commitment inspire both our team and our apprentices, ensuring they receive the highest standard of education and training.
"We are immensely proud of Scott's achievement and the impact of his work on our apprenticeship provision. Scott's dedication exemplifies HETA’s commitment to excellence in technical education." - Iain Elliott, CEO of HETA.
Congratulations, Scott, on this well-deserved recognition from the Royal Society!
