STEM Ambassadors
Humberside Engineering Training Association, hold the STEMNET contract for Humberside, providing brokerage services for STEM Enhancement & Enrichment (E&E).

Through this we have a responsibility to provide all schools and colleges with impartial advice and guidance on a wide range of STEM E&E activities, helping them to identify which opportunities can best inspire their young people in STEM.
As part of this is the STEM Ambassadors scheme, Volunteering as a STEM Ambassador is your chance to promote your skills to young learners, actively encourage them to enjoy STEM subjects, and inform them about the unique career opportunities that are available to them.
STEM Ambassadors are individuals who are willing to give their time and energy free of charge to help inspire young people in STEM - they can do this in a variety of ways from illustrating specific careers or helping with classroom activities, to assisting in extra-curricular activities such as clubs, challenges and competitions.
Through HETA. becoming a STEM Ambassador offers your knowledge and expertise to the schools and colleges of Humberside for a variety of activities around your specialist area.
