This course provides practical guidance on safe techniques when using equipment for slinging and lifting and a full appreciation of the related legal responsibilities.

COURSE CONTENT:

Safety awareness around the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER 98).
Planning the lift.
Selection of lifting equipment.
Attaching the lifting equipment to the load.
Lifting the load.
Setting the load down.
Care and storage of lifting equipment.
