This course is for new and experienced supervisors and first line managers with little previous training. Also for graduates, middle managers and others seeking to improve and formalise their knowledge of how to manage people better.

Course Content - The second module of Managing Teams and Individuals looks at selecting a team, effective business reporting, performance management, how to get a message across and persuading and influencing others.

Point & Purpose

To help employees with management responsibility to;

•Understand the role of formal appraisal systems and how to set SMART objectives
•Prepare written and verbal reports
•Develop techniques in training needs analysis and effective job instruction
•Conduct workplace job instruction and review the effectiveness of training with teams and individuals
•Present information effectively during "tool box" talks and other situation
•Deal with multi-cultural audiences
