This course is for new and experienced supervisors and first line managers with little previous training. Also for graduates, middle managers and others seeking to improve and formalise their knowledge of how to manage people better.

Course Content - Module 3B covers project planning, the use of charts and networks and the role of critical paths.

Point & Purpose

To help employees with management responsibility to;

  • Apply principles of project planning and control
  • Create and use bar charts appropiately
  • Understand and identify the "critical path"
  • Identify "float" and use it to balance resources
  • Understand and construct "a table of precedence"
  • Illustrate how, when and why to apply network analysis
