17th Edition - C & G 2382-12 Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS7671:2008 17th Edition IET wiring regulations, incorporating amendment number 1 July 2011)
This is the latest 2382-12 qualification containing the amendments to the 17th edition wiring regulations. This course now replaces the City & Guilds 2382-10 qualification

OBJECTIVE:
To provide the delegate with knowledge of the regulations.
This course is primarily aimed at practicing electricians with relevant experience and other allied professionals, eg surveyors, consultants and other trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of IET Wiring Regulations. It is also useful for anyone wishing to demonstrate an understanding of the IET 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
It is intended to ensure that on completion individuals are conversant with the format, content and the application of the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671: 2008 (Green 17th edition book).
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
There are no pre-requisite qualifications required to attend this course.
This course is suitable for practising electricians, domestic installers and other allied professionals. The City & Guilds 2382 - 12 may also be suitable for anyone requiring an understanding of BS 7671 (17th Edition regulations), although prior knowledge in basic electrical science is useful.
