Centre Manager - Stallingborough + Scunthorpe

Alex was one of the longest standing instructors at HETA until his promotion to Centre Manager at the CATCH site in Stallingborough.

Alex served his Apprenticeship with one of Grimsby’s biggest Electrical contracting company “Harry Carr Ltd” and rose through the ranks over Nineteen years to be a site foreman on many different projects nationally.

He later moved into the food manufacturing industry as a “Multi-Skilled Technician” with Blue chip Company “Heinz”. He joined HETA in 2003 as an Electrical Instructor and help set up the Grimsby Centre on the old Courtaulds site, before HETA moved to their current home on the CATCH site.

Over the years with HETA, he has worked with hundreds of Electrical Apprentices throughout the region and has also been involved with delivering various Electrical Adult courses to established Engineers.

He became Centre Manager at Stallingborough in July 2014 responsible for the day to day running of a busy Training Centre, and ensuring that HETA continues to provide all the training requirements that local industry have come to rely upon. Alex now runs both the Scunthorpe and Stallingborough Centres.
