HETA’s Basic Electrical Maintenance course has grown in popularity within the engineering and manufacturing sector over the last 20 years. The course has now received ECITB accreditation to provide delegates with the confidence of external scrutiny and quality assurance. Widely recognised as a course that prepares Mechanical Engineers for a multi skilled role in Engineering, the course has been accredited against exacting ECITB Training Standards.
Successful course delegates will now receive an accredited certificate from ECITB. ECITB eligible levy-paying employers will be able to access funding for the cost of the course.
Head of Sales & Marketing, David Morgan, has worked to achieve accreditation for the course since starting his journey with HETA a year ago. “We have again listened to the employers we work with who see the benefit in external accreditation of the hugely popular Basic Electrical Maintenance course. We are delighted to be able to offer our employers the accreditation they require”
The course is suitable for those with limited experience with electrical circuits and components. Delegates are provided with an appreciation of basic electrical maintenance to enable them to safely undertake tasks.
