ECITB announce CCNSG card grace period will come to an end

4th November 2021

ECITB has previously provided individuals with a three-month period after the expiry date of a CCNSG card to undertake the required refresher course. However, this will now come to an end.

ECITB has announced that from April 1st 2022, the three month grace period will come to an end, and card holders will be required to renew their CCNSG card before its expiry date.

"Delegates will be required to attend a Renewal Course or take the online renewal test BEFORE their safety passport expires.”

The CCNSG Safety Passport course is a nationally recognised qualification that has been designed to offer mandatory and essential basic knowledge to personnel who work on construction and engineering sites.

The CCNSG card is valid for 3 years with the requirement for a 1 day CCNSG Renewal before the expiry date.
