Course Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this 2-day course, you will have an appreciation of how to prepare, install, inspect, & maintain electrical equipment protection methods. This qualification does not prove competency to work in hazardous areas but provides delegates with a greater appreciation of Competency in Ex atmospheres and the promotion of safe working.

Course Outline:

• ExF Unit– Appreciation of Preparation, Installation, Inspection & Maintenance of electrical equipment protection methods and ‘Intrinsically safe systems’.
• Overview of the requirements of working safely in an explosive atmosphere
