We are looking for an Electrical Installation / Maintenance electrician with a high level of industry experience who would like to move into training and pass on their knowledge and experience. Previous or current JIB card holders would be welcomed.
The successful candidate will work with our existing instructor teams delivering high quality apprenticeship training for our client companies and also deliver on our range of commercial courses including C&G 18th Edition, C&G 2391, Basic Electrical Maintenance and PAT testing.
You will bring your industry experience and a desire to be part of developing the next generation of skilled technicians.
The successful applicant will have good craft/technical skills, good interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and more than five years commercial / industrial experience.
It would be expected that the candidate has experience of Containment Installations, first fixing, second fixing and inspection and testing along with certification experience with EIC, EICR and minor electrical installation works certification to current BS7671 and GN3 standards within the electrotechnical sectors.
Relevant electrical apprenticeship or City and Guilds level three qualifications are essential. HNC or above would be advantageous, Assessor and teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential as full support will be given in the development of necessary skills.
The position will be based at our Hull site but occasional travel to our other sites and client companies may be necessary therefore willingness to work nationally, on occasion, is essential.
A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are also essential.
