Humberside Engineering Training Association (HETA) is a dynamic and expanding Group Training Association (GTA) with training centres in Hull, Grimsby, and Scunthorpe. We specialise in providing Level 3 & 4 engineering apprenticeships, higher education, and upskilling courses to over 300 client companies.

About the Role

We are looking for an Electrical Commercial Instructor with a high level of industry experience who can deliver high quality engaging learning.

The successful candidate will work with our existing instructor teams delivering high quality commercial courses for our client companies.

The courses to be delivered include, but are not limited to:-

 

Essential

· 18th Edition

· Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (2391)

· Basic Electrical Maintenance

· In Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT testing)

· Health and safety courses

· Safe Isolation

 

Desirable

· PLC

· Instrumentation

· CompEx

· High Voltage

 

Who We’re Looking For

The successful applicant will have good craft/technical skills, good interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and more than five years industrial experience with the ability to develop new course content and materials.

Relevant qualifications at Level 3 or above in the sector are essential.

Assessor and teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential as full support will be given in the development of necessary skills.

 

Location & Travel

The position will require you to work across our three sites in the Humber sub region with the necessity to travel to our client companies across the UK as the need arises, therefore a full driving licence and own transport is essential.
