Flexibility That Works for You
We understand that many of our trainers have other commitments — whether that’s family, part-time work, consultancy, or retirement projects. As an associate trainer, you can choose when and where you work, with opportunities that suit your availability and expertise. Deliver short courses, support assessments, or lead workshops that make a real difference — all on your terms.
Join a Like-Minded Team
When you work with HETA, you’re joining a community of professionals who share your passion for engineering excellence and skills development. Our team values collaboration, quality, and integrity — we’re all working towards the same goal: to equip the next generation of engineers and upskill today’s workforce.
National Opportunities
HETA works with companies across the country, from large manufacturers to specialist engineering firms. As part of our associate network, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver training and assessment at client sites, in our own training centres, or remotely — depending on your area of expertise.
We’re looking to expand our associate team across a range of disciplines, including:
Electrical Engineering – City & Guilds-accredited courses, electrical safety, inspection & testing
Maintenance Training – Mechanical and multi-skilled maintenance programs
Health & Safety – Including Abrasive Wheels, Slinging & Lifting, and Manual Handling
NVQ Assessment and Support – Workplace competency assessment for engineering apprentices and experienced staff
Fabrication & Welding - Including TWI Coded Assessments
Whether you specialise in one area or bring a broad mix of experience, we’d love to hear from you.
If you’re passionate about sharing your knowledge, developing others, and keeping engineering skills strong across the UK — we want you on our team.
