The HETA Electro-Mechanical Engineer Degree Apprenticeship enables employers to build highly skilled, work-ready engineers — combining academic excellence with real-world performance from day one.
The Electro-Mechanical Engineer Degree Apprenticeship is a Level 6 (BEng) programme designed to develop highly skilled engineers capable of solving complex industrial challenges across mechanical, electrical and automation systems.
This programme blends advanced academic learning with real-world engineering application, enabling apprentices to:
Design, develop and improve engineering systems
Diagnose and resolve complex faults across mechanical and electrical environments
Lead projects that enhance productivity, safety and performance
Apply cutting-edge engineering principles to modern industry challenges
Apprentices graduate with a full Bachelor of Engineering degree, alongside the practical competence required to operate as a professional engineer in industry.
This is a fully integrated work-based degree programme, meaning apprentices are employed from day one and apply their learning directly in the workplace.
